Established in 1966 by owners Jack and Wanda Hunt, Hunt Monument has been serving the area as a family owned and operated business for over 45 years. Jack and Wanda started the business in their very own front yard with a small display. After only a few years, they moved to a vacant business building across the street. Jack passed away in 1989 and Wanda retired a few years later. They have five children of which three are currently operating the business, Clint Hunt, Penny Reed, and Marsha Gentry. Also, with combined experience of over 30 years, employees Mike Christy and Chris Holcomb contribute to every aspect of daily operations. In 1990, a complete new building was constructed and is the present location.
